 Winner of the contest:

I'm drawing with Pascal

Bonjour {{{firstname}}}

Finally here is the result of our contest "I'm drawing with Pascal" launched at the last Paris Dive Show in January 2007.
Contestants could apply online at Paradise-plongée.com (in French) until end of February and we receive 63 artworks!
That's amazing and most of the pieces are impressive.
Some very nice surprises: a purple rabbit, a turtle with geometric patterns...
Some ecological commitments have been added to the suggested list: nice and encouraging as: "No wasting water"
or naïve and lovely  "not anymore annoy my sister"!!!!

Congratulations to  Loïc from Toulouse (France) for his nice painting showing a perfect command of thick paints and collage, great care and ...humourous octopus.

It was difficult to make the right choice, we defined the number of criterions... and increased the awards!

Thanks to all the contestants, to Hélène de Tayrac who added the contest at the last Paris Dive Show  during my 30th year anniversary Retrospective Exhibition in January, to Nausicaa, Sea Center (Boulogne sur mer, France) and la Cité de la Mer, Sea Center (Cherbourg, France) for donations, to Jérôme Hautier who host and published it online (Paradise-Plongee.com), to Delphine my assistant for organization, her help during the show and the contest and my Foundation in progress: Pascal Lecocq Foundation for the Arts and Environmental Education.

(By the way, if you have any suggestion, any help to get the legal status of the Foundation, to fill applications, to make donations for the next contest or event... we'll greatly appreciate.)

If you missed the exhibitions:

10 years after our 1st exhibition in Ferney-Voltaire (Geneva) at the  Dolphin Shop,  Michel Maissa invited me for a new show and meeting with my faithful friends from Switzerland  from June 9 to 16.

At the same time my works were exhited in Ukraine at the Festival Silver Shark in Kiev, beginning of June and at the  Sun Splash Festival in Key Largo.

Next events:

As a member of the Society for the Fantastic Art of Imagination and Dream (SAFIR), I will participate with 40 other painters in the exhibition: "Fantastic Eye II" in Chambourcy (near Saint-Germain en Laye).

Next I will exhibit during the Underwater Festival in Antibes at the  Marineland, then during the Dema Show in Orlando.

Have a nice summer. I'm going back to the easel...

Best regards

Pascal
