THE PAINTER OF BLUE ®

Pascal Lecocq, Ph.D, is the painter of the diving world’s most recognized picture: "The Matador".

He is the Painter of blue® who paints (as a director on high backcloths) sky, figures, horses, funny divers, allegories, architectures, Venice and ancient ruins. All between hyperrealism and surrealism flavored with humor.

Pascal's paintings have been exhibited worldwide in more than 300 solo exhibitions since 1977 and in museums in France (2000-2001) and USA (2012-2013).

Pascal lives and works in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since 2001.

Welcome and congratulations to the new collectors and friends who stopped by my booth at Spectrum-Miami, spending time and appreciating my artwork.
Thank you so much for your positive reaction during this challenging new experience for me, including the one from the talented artists exhibiting around which were inspiring and reaffirming.
The show, one of the 20 art fairs !!! in Miami during the Art-Basel week was well attended with a first class display and a exhibitors-friendly management.
Special thanks to my friend Niko Rakusa, talented sculptor for his help during the show.
