Several artists from the Broward Art Guild are embellishing the lobby of the Keiser University with paintings in the shade of turquoise during the Turquoise Takeover Week . 5 paintings by the Painter of Blue ® are exhibited.

We invite you to join us as we stand together – against lung cancer and for lung health – leading up to National Women’s Lung Health Week, or #TurquoiseTakeover week, May 8-12. We are uniting as a community to raise awareness of lung cancer by turning South Florida businesses, media and landmarks TURQUOISE!

Aug 12- Sept 30 “Bhoti”curated show at Magnetic Pompano

“Bhoti”, an exhibition at Magnetic gallery, curated by Byron Swart for the upcoming Cultural Center of Pompano Beach, temporaly located at the  Pompano Citi Centre ( suite 104, near the Carousel) with 5 large size original oil of canvas by The Painter of Blue !

Bodhi in Buddhism is the term used for enlightenment or awakening. The understanding of the true nature of things. Artists in this exhibit will re-awaken the child in us by reconnecting us with memories in the past and take us back to a period or place with happy personal associations.

Artists featured include: Julio Green, Bonnie Shapiro, Surge, Mai Yap and Pascal with 5 large size original oil of canvas.

Magnetic Pompano is a pop-up venue managed and programed by The Creatives, the team behind the Pompano Beach Amp and the upcoming Pompano Beach Cultural Center.

Located at The Pompano Citi Centre, Magnetic is a dynamic incubation space that offers weekly poetry, film, music and art events.

The purpose of Magnetic is to build awareness about the cultural creativity happening in Pompano Beach and to begin introducing some of South Florida’s most acclaimed artists to the city in preparation for the opening of the Cultural Center which is scheduled for early 2017.

Pascal is a proud supporter of Arts United’s mission to use the arts to break down historical barriers preventing lesbians and gays from contributing fully and openly to the cultural, social and economic success of South Florida.

Feb 1-19 ArtExplosion for ArtsUnited

Group exhibition featuring Pascal’s painting: Counter Clockwise.

Pascal supports ArtsUnited. See Pascal’s ArtsUnited exhibitions .

ArtsUnited, a south Florida-based LGBT artist organization presents its annual juried show, “ArtExplosion”, representing an array of work in all media. It is one of the largest LGBT art shows in the United States, and is ArtsUnited’s largest fundraiser of the year.

The opening reception is Saturday, Feb. 6, from 6-9 p.m. at ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale.
A $10 donation at the door helps support ArtsUnited’s programs.
There will be a jewelry fashion show by Susan David Designs,
an appearance by Akrylika Magenta, and music by DJ Frankie Fox. Refreshments will be served. Food provided by Courtyard Cafe.
Awards for best of class in five categories (Painting, Photography, Mixed Media, Prints/Drawing and 3D) will be presented, as well as a “Best of Show” award. The

The Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library has provided an opportunity for Broward Art Guild members to display an exhibit there this fall 2015.

Oct 13-16 Pascal’s paintings at Florida International Trade and Culture Expo, Ft Lauderdale

Pascal has been selected by the Broward County Cultural Division to be one of the  Broward-Resident Artists represented at the  Florida International Trade and Culture Expo (FITCE)

The Expo will be held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center 1950 Eisenhower Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

The goal of FITCE is to expand Broward County as the premier importing and exporting trading capital, while helping to establish new businesses and nurture existing businesses to continue growing and  to meet international delegates, government leaders, entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce leaders, business alliance and councils, seasoned importers/exporters, and representatives from Broward County’s leading public economic engines: Everglades, Fort Lauderdale -Hollywood International Airport, The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as Broward County’s Cultural Division, Enterprise Florida, and The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.

Pascal used to exhibit at the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center  during Blue Wild expo, Boat Show , and was on permanent display at the Cyber Cafe all year 2013.
