Treizième participation de Pascal Lecocq au festival. Entre New York, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas et Paris, le peintre surréaliste s’est arrêté à Antibes pour présenter ses nouvelles toiles.

À nouveau inspiré par la mythologie, Pascal Lecoq a choisi de mettre en scène le Minotaure sous la forme d’un poulpe géant dont les tentacules se perdent dans le labyrinthe. Le fils d’Ariane est représenté par le fils de survie qui relie le plongeur à la surface.

Les amateurs de ces peintures sous-marines remarqueront un nouveau style à base de pointillés, fruit de l’association inédite de Pascal Lecoq et du peintre australien Rogest, spécialiste de peinture aborigène… De ces différences de styles ressort une harmonie fluide et symbolique. Sur le stand figurent également quelques-unes des toiles exposées récemment à la Cité de la Mer de Cherbourg sous le titre de « Plongée dans l’humour »… Clins d’œil du peintre et message éducatif du protecteur de l’environnement…

Suzanne Reiter (Austria) won the Silver Diver in the Slide show contest with her show: “Le zèbre sous-marin”.
Based with Pascal’s paintings “Bar code, stars and stripes”, she presents her underwater photographies mixed with Pascal’s divers and orcas.
