Judge: Dr. Ken Slossberg, DVM

Dr. Ken Slossberg is a practicing Veterinarian in Pompano Beach Florida. He studied painting at the Art Academy of San Diego and has been painting for almost 20 years. In that time Dr. Slossberg has shown and won awards for his work in San Diego and Southeast Florida. Before becoming a Veterinarian, he received a Master of Architecture from Tulane University School of Architecture in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Slossberg has been teaching oil painting for 5 years and continues to create out of his studio “Life Painted” in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Judge: Al Razza
Mr. Razza received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. He also attended the Art Institute of Boston, University of Rhode Island & FAU. He won the first South Florida Consortium Fellowships and an exhibition at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, FL. Mr. Razza has taught in the Broward County School System and at the Coral Springs Museum of Art. He is the owner of the Razza’s School of Art, located in Coral Springs. A retrospective of his work will open at the Coral Springs Museum of Art in Coral Springs, Florida, March 22, 2018

Judge: Kelcie McQuaid Awarded ‘Best Emerging Artist 2015’ in Broward/ Palm Beach New Times, Kelcie McQuaid is a Professional Artist, Curator and Founder of Shangri-La Creations an Event Production Agency & Marketing Firm. McQuaid was an early champion of developing art districts such as Mass District and Fat Village and has worked with many cultural entities including Broward County’s Cultural Division, Fort Lauderdale’s Museum of Art, Pompano Beach’s New Cultural Center, Coral Springs Museum of Art and many others.

Pascal’s painting: “Cadillac Ranch”. oil on canvas 24″x 48″awarded 2nd place of the show at the opening of Arts United new show in Fort Lauderdale.

Pascal is a proud supporter of Arts United’s mission to use the arts to break down historical barriers preventing lesbians and gays from contributing fully and openly to the cultural, social and economic success of South Florida.
