🦈 SharkCon 2025: A Dive into Art and Connection
From July 12–13, the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa transformed into a vibrant celebration of marine wonder, community spirit, and artistic imagination. I was honored to showcase my latest work at SharkCon, marking my 8th appearance at this dynamic ocean-focused event.
🎬 Jaws 50th Anniversary
This year held special meaning as it coincided with the 50th anniversary of Jaws — a cultural milestone that shaped generations of ocean lovers and storytellers. I was proud to contribute to the tribute and reflect on how the film influenced my artistic journey.
🎨 Underwater Art on Display
Over two days, I presented original canvases and limited-edition prints that sparked conversations and shared reverence for the sea. My underwater art invites viewers to explore surreal landscapes and emotional depth beneath the surface.
🤝 Reconnecting with the Community
I had the joy of reconnecting with collectors, friends from previous dive shows — including some met over 20 years ago — and welcoming new visitors drawn to the dreamlike beauty of my paintings. The SharkCon community continues to inspire me with its energy, passion, and warmth.
🌐 SharkCon Legacy
This marks my 8th participation in SharkCon. You can explore all past editions and related posts via the SharkCon tag archive — a visual journey through years of marine art and shared experiences.
🙏 Acknowledgments
My heartfelt thanks go to the dedicated organizers and tireless volunteers who made the event seamless and welcoming. Their commitment to ocean education and artistic expression makes SharkCon truly special.

I look forward to sharing photos from each day, capturing the smiles, stories, and fin-tastic moments that define this unforgettable experience. Until the next tide… thank you for being part of the journey.
