April 1st Coral Reef Restoration Foundation Gala

The 2017 CRF Gala was a smashing success. Thanks to the community and global support to our event. To the CRF Staff for making it all happen, to all that donated items to help support our silent and live Auctions, to everyone that purchased a ticket and attended,to those far away guests that traveled to participation in this epic event .

The Women Divers Hall of Fame™ (WDHOF)

Women Divers Hall of Fameis an international non-profit professional honor society whose member contributions span a wide variety of fields including: the arts, science, deep sea exploration, underwater archaeology, medicine, free diving, equipment technology, cave diving, wreck diving, military diving, commercial diving, media, training and education, and business.

Created in 1999 and incorporated in 2001 by six founding sponsors: Beneath the Sea, Inc., the Underwater Society of America, the Women’s Scuba Association, Women Underwater, Hillary Viders, Ph.D., and Capt. Kathy A. Weydig; WDHOF, Inc. was granted its 501(c)(3) status in 2002.

 

The Women Divers Hall of Fame™ (WDHOF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and raising awareness of the contributions of outstanding women divers. WDHOF provides educational, mentorship, financial, and career opportunities to the diving community throughout the world. Each year, WDHOF awards scholarships and training grants that provide financial and educational support to individuals of all ages, particularly those who are preparing for professional careers that involve diving.

Scholarships are offered in dive medicine, marine conservation, marine biology, underwater archaeology, marine education, journalism, graphic arts, or photography. They are intended to support independent research and/or internship programs at accredited universities. Scholarships are paid or awarded directly to the recipient.
